Who are DPAC Cymru?
We are a Disabled People's Organisation in Wales. We also welcome non-disabled carers and allies as non-voting members. We are campaigners. This means we try to change things to be better for disabled people and on all the issues that matter to us. We organise protests and get disabled voices in the news.We are democratic. This means we always discuss and vote on what we do together. We are independent. This means we have our own voice and no-one is telling us what to do.
What's next?
No confidence in the Timms Review!
DPAC Cymru is fighting for a independent disability review, led by disabled people and our organisations.
Trade unions must urgently recommit to disability cuts action
TUC Congress 2025 unanimously passed motions 38 and 39 opposing UK government disability cuts and calling for coordinated and sustained trade union action. The TUC has since taken the position that it does not need to implement these actions due to the concessions won on PIP cuts.Download a model motion here
